We're not sure if that makes it  the  most successful member of the long-running Redmi Note line, but it sure is  one of  the most successful handsets to bear that name. Poco recently announced that the M3 Pro 5G arriving on May 19 will be powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC. Now we learn the smartphone will sport a 6.5" DotDisplay with FullHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Poco also said that the screen will come with a DynamicSwitch feature to offer you "a more flexible viewing experience". That sounds a bit vague, but the poster shared by the company suggests DynamicSwitch will automatically adjust the screen refresh rate depending on the app. Additionally, Poco also confirmed that the M3 Pro 5G will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. Poco hasn't revealed the rest of the M3 Pro 5G's specs yet, but the smartphone is said to be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G with a different design.   Redmi Watch coming to India on May 13  04 MAY 2021 Redmi India is gearing up for another launch event on May 13 where we’ll see the local debut of the Redmi Note 10S and now we learn that won’t be the only announcement on stage. A new tweet from Redmi India confirms the brand is also bringing the Redmi Watch which was announced in China late last year. Redmi Watch is actually a rebadged Mi Watch Lite for the global market with matching specs and design. It comes in a square casing with a 1.4-inch IPS LCD, onboard GPS and up to 12 days battery life. Redmi Watch also boasts heart rate and blood oxygen level tracking alongside stress and sleep monitoring and all the standard sports and activities metrics.

  Motorola announced its latest Moto G members with the   Moto G60   and   Moto G40 Fusion   in India. The two phones come with 120Hz LCDs, large 6,000mAh batteries and Snapdragon 732G chipsets. The big difference comes in the cameras where the G60 is outfitted with Samsung’s HM2 108MP sensor while the G40 Fusion gets a more pedestrian 64MP shooter. The accompanying 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensors are identical. The selfie shooters also vary - the G60 comes with a 32MP module while the G40 Fusion settles for a 16MP unit. Both new Moto G phones feature 6.8-inch IPS LCDs with FHD+ resolution and centered punch holes. Both panels are also HDR10-certified.  17 FEBRUARY 2021 OmniVision unveiled its first camera sensor with 100% phase detection coverage. It uses Quad Phase Detection (QPD) technology where all pixels (in groups of 2 x 2) are used for focus detection. This is similar to Sony’s  2 x 2 on-chip lens system  and might prove superior to the Dual Pixel tech used by Samsung (this sensor clearly wants to take on the  ISOCELL GN1 ). QPD enables faster autofocus, especially in the dark. It also improves distance calculations (so bokeh and similar effects will be more accurate). The chip has on-board hardware to do remosaicing of the QPD color filter array, which OmniVision says results in better image quality. The sensor, OV50A, has an 1/1.55” optical format and 1.0µm pixels. Those can be binned to 2.0µm equivalent pixels, which quadruples the sensitivity.
